The Marco V-G slit lamp adds a new microscope head with parallel optics and an improved magnification system with a new revolving drum that allows a selection of any of five powers from 7X up to 45X. It is also immediately adaptable for photographic purposes by simply adding a Marco photo kit with an in-out beam splitter and the photo equipment of your choice-video, Polaroid or 35mm camera. An assistant scope may also be added.
The Marco V-G slit lamp features fingertip millimeter slit length control from 8mm to 1mm, single-handed elevation control, easy-to-reach tilting mechanism, and a focusing fixation light. It has a manual rotary objective changing system for making magnification changes, a convergence angle of 10o, and a P.d. adjustment from 48mm to 76mm. The 16X eyepiece is + or - 8D for both eyes.

The slit lamp is continuously variable from 0 to 8mm (field of view is round at 8mm), slit length is continuously variable from 8mm to 1mm, aperture diaphragms are 8, 5, 3, 2, 1 and 0.2mm diameters, and the slit angle is continuously variable through 90o from the vertical to the horizontal. Horizontal scanning is possible; slit projection can be inclined up to 20o. Built-in filters include one cobalt, two red-free, one 13% neutral density, and one heat-absorbing filter. Illumination is by a 6V 4.5 amp precentered tungsten filament lamp, and halogen bulb is also optionally available.
